Duane: Did you send in a crash report when it crashed? If yes, go to the URL about:crashes inside SeaMonkey and paste those crash IDs into this bug here.

Please post a crash ID from about:crashes
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report
I am not sure where to the URL about Crashes inside of Sea Monkey it does not stay open long enough to let me look around.
I have been sending a crash report to apple as that is coming up and I tried to copy and past that it did not let me

Hi Duane, please follow the instructions here:
<http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Mozilla Crash Reporter>
These are for Firefox but they also apply to SeaMonkey
Keywords: crash,
stackwanted
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 2.0 Branch
I think that I finally found the crash report in my library and I copied it plist
seamonkey-bin_B2163B48-FFCA-5FA5-95B5-373CBC294768.plist
UserCrashHistory_B2163B48-FFCA-5FA5-95B5-373CBC294768.plist
there is nothing in the crash report on seamonkey browser or email. But is crashes mostly on email as soon as I try an look at a message

I am really tying hard to help you and me figure out what is wrong. In trying to figure out what and I went back and studied you instruction maybe this is what is wrong.
Your instructions says that a screen will open up when the crash occurs and have the information you need to help me correct the problem.
When SeaMonkey crashes there is screen that opens up but it is from apple and is sent to apple. Maybe that is screws up your crash screen that is suppose to be sent to you.
I have tried and tried to do what you say in about:crashes but cannot get it to work maybe I am doing it wrong??
OS: Mac OS X → Windows 7

Do you suppose your thunderbird would work better for me?
I have taken office 2011 out, removed it all as per microsoft and it seemed to work better just couple of crashes so I reinstalled office 2008 that I was using before I installed 2011 it 2008 work fine no problems. But now i am crashing every time I work with Sea Money email

I have to use apple mail and safari to send this info to you as I cannot do anything in SeaMonkey

OK thanks. So our crash reporter isn't showing up. This makes things difficult as we aren't Apple so we don't get any crash reports sent to Apple.
I just notice that you are using OSX 10.6.7. I should have noticed that first. Try the following sequence of instructions:
1. Validate your fonts using Font Book; remove or disable all fonts with errors or warnings, as well as any duplicate fonts.
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=FontBook/2.2/en/5285.html>
2. Restart your Mac in Safe Mode to clear the OS font caches (which contain data for the corrupt or invalid and duplicate fonts you removed/disabled in step 1).
<http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1455>
3. Restart your Mac normally, and SeaMonkey should no longer crash from font-related problems.

Thank you so much it seems like this has fixed the problem to this point. I have been working it for a couple of days and it has been fine.
One more question I do have is this
as I told you I had installed office 2011 and thinking that was started my problem. since then I removed all of 2011 and then found I did not remove 2008 when I installed 2011 so I made sure I clean all of both of them 2008 and 2011 out of my computer per microsoft's instructions.
Then I did reinstall 2008 which is what I am using now.
So do think I would be ok to remove 2008 and install office 2011 which I would like to do.
I would like to ask your advise on this?
thanks again for finding my problem for me
