User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Fennec Nightly Build from 2011-03-31 Android
Most Android apps offer a way to select a small part of a text string. Fennec does not.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open (for example) the email client app
2. Create a new mail and enter some text
3. Tap into the text and hold until the magnifying glass effect is shown. Release your finger.
4. A dialogue appears and offers three possibilities: "Select text", "Select all" and "Paste"
5. Open Fennec
6. Tap into the awesome bar and enter some text
7. Tap and hold until a dialogue appears
Actual Results:
-> _No_ magnifying glass effect is shown.
-> A dialogue appears and offers the following elements:
* Copy all
* Paste
* Select all
Expected Results:
The same that happens in step 4.
I also doesen'T know what is the difference between "Copy all" and "Select all" in Fennec's dialogue. Both do nearly the same...
This also happens in input fields (single and multi line) on web pages and in configuration input fields in "settings".
