More details on this project are located in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=645192

We're planning on launching an email preference center in Q2. We don't need to spend a lot of time on copy - pretty basic - but would love another set of eyes.

Page 1 - New email subscribers view of the preference center
- page will only be visible immediately after the subscriber joins the main newsletter list. It will market other newsletters.

Page 2 - New Email Unsubscribe Confirmation Screen
- if a user chooses to unsubscribe from an email (or all emails) - they will receive this message.

Hey - looks good. We worked with the header a bit. Could you take a look at these sentences and see if this works? Feel free to spruce it up.

"Thanks! You’ve successfully subscribed to Mozilla & You – our monthly newsletter with updates about Firefox. Now tell us more about yourself and sign up for more email news from Mozilla. "

Hey, here are a couple of alt versions of the copy in comment 2. In particular, I find "now tell us" a little aggressive. Sounds like there isn't a choice. Or is there a reason you guys worded it that way?

Thanks! You’ve successfully subscribed to Mozilla & You, our monthly newsletter featuring updates about Firefox. You can also tell us more about yourself and sign up for more email news from Mozilla.

I like version 1 best. I don't want to sound pushy... but I want to be firm in pushing them into the preference center process. (Also - very open to testing different treatments).

Also - I got a peek at the first draft of the page design. The layout will be tweaked a lot - but what isn't changing is the treatment of the page title. Based on the design, the copy may need to be tweaked a bit.

Matej - can you take a look at the current layout? I think we'll need to trim down the above. The headline space is somewhat of a challenge... I want to says thanks so they realize they've reached a success page, but I also want to drive them into the preference page.

See attached. Maybe we can chat tomorrow when you get back on the phone?

Here are some options for the headline (that communicate both that you've signed up and that there are more options below) and some ways at the copy. Let me know if any of these satisfy what you were looking for.

[HEADLINE]

You’re All Set!
Now Get More.

You’re All Set!
But Wait, There’s More.

Thanks!

Hi Matej -

I was looking at one of our success pages and I think there is an opportunity to promote some other mozilla/firefox related ctas.

The user will land on this page after they've updated their email preferences. We'll display a message thanking them for the update. Below that, we can highlight other actionable items.

I've attached a similar page so you can get an idea of word count. We'd do a similar horizontal treatment with three boxes.

Here's rough copy directions:

-----
Thanks for updating your email preferences.

While you’re here, check out other Firefox awesomeness.

Get Up and Go

GET FIREFOX FOR MOBILE >>

CTA 2
