Right click on Silverlight plugin. Actual Results: The original browser window is selected. And context menu appears. Expected Results: Browser window should be stayed on. And context menu appears. I've found that this bug affects only windowsless plugins. FWIW, here is my STR from the bug I duped to this: STR 1. Make sure your browser window in not maximized 2. Open the link URL (or other windowless Flash video page) 3. Click the video to play 4. While the video is still playing, drag it out to a new window; and make sure the video is significantly displaced from its old screen position 5. Right-click the video and notice that the context menu is drawn where the video previously was.

Summary: When I right clicks on Silverlight plugins in a detached tab, the original browser is selected → When I right clicks on Flash/Silverlight plugins in a detached tab, the original browser is selected
Reproducible on Windows XP also, but not reproducible on GNU/Linux. It would be nice if bugzilla had an all Windows platform category.
For me this bug actually affects the normal clicking behavior as well. On the url given in the bug description, after detaching the tab the hover effects no longer function correctly. Try to get into fullscreen for example after following the STR in comment 2 up till step 4.

The problem may be related to OOPP because it works fine when disabled.
The link you provided is no longer available, can you please provide another one so I can test this on my end? Also, is this still reproducible on your end ? If yes, can you please retest this using latest FF release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E). Thanks.
