Will they be displayed with the regular AOM incompatible add-on skin (yellow stripes with an incompatibility warning on top of the richlistitem)? I think that would be ideal for the proper visuals - otherwise the lack of Install button could look kind of strange, and I'm asking because I guess you'd need to additionally set the field 'isActive' to false for the respective addon struct supplied to AOM in order for the skinning to happen (due to the way the CSS works on addon binding attributes)...
