Also FF 4.0 gets hang often in Win7 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download something 2.Close the Download Manager with some FF window open 3.Check status bar, downloading status is not showing Actual Results: same as previuos Expected Results: it should show downloading status as previous releases, should show status in status bar
The status bar has been removed in Firefox 4. The thing you are looking at is probably the Add-on Bar. There is ongoing work to solve the download progress issue: Bug 597155 - [meta] Alternative places to show download progress (instead of dead status bar) Bug 564934 - Implement new Download Manager UI for browser
