Works for me on an x86 version of Win7: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I created a firefox in a non-default profile location (my documents) using the firefox profile manager (choosing a custom location -> Run-> "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager) and deleting all other profiles in the appdata folder The extension UnMHT and other top extensions were successfully installed in the non-default profile folder and were running normally. Remaining Unconfirmed. If you still see the issue please leave a comment.
I hadn't used the profile manager, I used the modifies profiles.ini that has served me well during all the different Firefox 3 versions. You can close the bug report, as it does work with the profile manager, and I did successfully use a work-around. FF 4 and its extensions are running fine and to my satisfaction.
