Filing this as mentioned in bug 647730 comment 32. Craig, please update the text that is shared when someone clicks on the Twitter and Facebook buttons. Tweet text: Discover the awesome. I did! Upgrade to Firefox 4 today! http://mzl.la/i85nib #fx4 Facebook text: Discover the awesome. I did! Upgrade to Firefox 4 today! http://mzl.la/i85nib
Facebook's sharer API only has parameters for URL and title, and doesn't offer a way to pass in a comment. And in this case they're even overriding the title because the page we're linking to has its own title and description already. Looks like it'll be up to the user to add a comment of their own when they share the link. I haven't found any way around it.
Updated the twitter text in r87091 but I don't think we can do anything for Facebook.
