RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 372539

People

(Reporter: telliott, Unassigned)

Details

Steps to reproduce: 1) Create a restricted bug (such as Bug 648079) 2) Add an attachment with a review request for someone who isn't able to see the bug 3) The review request is changed to yourself without any alert. It should either add the requested reviewer to the cc list such that they can view the attachment, or give you a big warning saying you can't do what you're trying to do.
Okay. What version of Bugzilla is this that you're reporting against?

(In reply to comment #1) > Okay. What version of Bugzilla is this that you're reporting against? Sorry, 3.6.4
(In reply to comment #2) > The requestee is discarded, but is in no way set to the requester. This does not appear to be true. See Bug 648079 that I mention above. The reviewer for the attachment has been set to me, even though I attempted to set it to someone not able to see the bug. I certainly didn't do that (I thought I might have stupidly on the first one first time through, which is why I did a second attachment to confirm.
