User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I am aware that this is by design, but in my opinion this is a usability regression. When Firefox 4 prompts you to remember a password, it now does so via a pop-up balloon, which hangs down from the address bar, covering a portion of the page, any toolbars you may have open, and your tab bar (if not set to be at the top). This is incredibly frustrating. The Firefox 3 method was to display the notification in a new temporary toolbar, inserted between the tabs and the content, so nothing was hidden when the prompt was present. Now, I find I have to dismiss the notification box every single time in order to continue using Firefox, whereas previously I could just ignore it. This seems like a step backwards, and not very far off earlier versions where a modal dialog box popped up - sure it's not modal, but if it's blocking access to important parts of the interface or page, then it might as well be! Reproducible: Always
