Reproducible: Always
what is your homepage ? The URL bar gets focus if I use a blank homepage and the search bar in the default homepage gets focus if I set that one as homepage on startup.

I can't reproduce your problem with Firefox 4.0 on Windows7/32 and with a blank homepage. The URL bar gets the focus after startup
OK i uninstalled it n then reinstalled it.problems resolved now.Thanks for the your help.I apprecite it
