User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 This bug usually (perhaps always) occurs when Firefox is not focused. I'm not sure if tooltips should even be displayed for bookmarks in the bookmark bar in this instance, but even if they are, they often get "stuck". They will display even when the mouse is not over them and won't go away until Firefox is focused again. Also, after this happens, sometimes ALL of the tooltips will display in the location of the previous stuck one. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: I have never been able to intentionally reproduce, but it happens once ever two or three days (of very heavy Firefox use). These steps are what happen to the best of my knowledge 1. Firefox is in the background, bookmark bar is visible 2. While interacting with another program, the mouse passes over a bookmark 3. Tooltip is displayed and does not hide once the mouse passes over Actual Results: Sometimes the tooltip will stay behind Expected Results: The tooltip should go away as soon as the mouse leaves the bookmark No themes installed, no addons that affect the bookmark bar.
