Now that bug 465086 is fixed, there should be a test for it that is reasonably realistic. The approach I propose is as follows: 1. Find the location of a tab close button. 2. Simulate multiple mouse clicks at that location. 3. Pause for a short time interval to allow that tab to close fully. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed. I'd happily accept and deeply appreciate any tests that successfully implement this approach or improve upon it. Otherwise, I'll start working on it once I have time.
