konigsberg runs:
CentOS release 5.5 (Final)

and python there is 2.4, mercurial supports this, qimportbz dies horribly.

I don't really like the changes that remove the 'if ... else' syntax in favor of the short circuiting 'logical' operators as it decreases the readability of already poor code. Python 2.4 is pretty old - is there any chance you could upgrade to a more recent version? The last version of 2.4 was released in Dec 2008 after being out for around 3 years.

Unlike Mercurial, we have no interest in supporting Python < 2.6. If I have my way, we'll drop support for 2.6 ASAP.
