Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110411 Firefox/4.2a1pre When the menu bar is hidden and the bookmark sidebar is enabled, the keyboard shortcut (ALT+S) does not open the History menu. Reproducible: always Prerequisites: Make sure that the Menu Bar is hidden. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the bookmarks sidebar from: View -> Sidebar -> Bookmarks or by pressing CTRL+B 2. Invoke the History Menu using the keyboard shortcut: ALT+S. Actual Results: When hitting ALT+S the focus is switched to the search bar in the Bookmarks sidebar. Expected Results: The History Menu is opened.
You are not able to use ALT+S without 2.) either since the Menubar cannot deliver Accessibility to ALT Shortcuts when hidden. Use CTRL+H instead. => INVALID?
Whiteboard: INVALID?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110412 Firefox/4.2a1pre When the Menu-bar is hidden the menu can still be accessed using the ALT+S shortcut (as well as all the other shortcuts ALT +F/E/V etc). When the sidebar is displayed (either History or Bookmarks) the ALT+S shortcut comes into conflict with the search bar from within the sidebar.
Could probably be a dupe.

This issue is not reproducible anymore using the latest Firefox 123.0 build on Win 10, the History Menu is opened after using the keyboard shortcut "ALT+S", I'm closing it as WFM.
