When many tabs are open with the same title, without selecting a tabs its URL can be read.

Switch to tab cannot always be done as the exact URL is not known

It's not an Issue, but rather an Request for Implementation of a Feature.
The Feature is - as i understood - that hovering inactive Tabs on the Tabstrip should bring up the Link Status as when you hover over a Link in a Page's Content.

Not just the link status. I was actually asking for the tab url along with the currently displayed tab title in the tooltip.

The screenshot contains 2 images: (1) What happens and (2) What is required.

Pls note that this requirement would be applicable not only to "inactive tabs", but also "active tabs" and "pinned app tabs".

Restating the requirement in my words:
  - Show URL in popup when any tab is hovered.

It would be useful in cases when:
  - Pages don't have titles
  - Pages cannot have titles (like viewing CSS/JS code files)
  - Multiple tabs have same title (generally happens on different
      pages in a single site with same site title)

This bug is marked to be blocked by issue #662923.
But this issue can probably be resolved without depending on that issue. To me it seems that resolving issue #649448 would resolve this issue as well if we choose to show the URL on hovering a tab in any scenario (active/inactive/pinned app tab).
