Github sends post-commit notifications to Jenkins on every commit, causing it to rebuild, say, jsocol/master, when jsocol/next changed, and running them in parallel slows down both. Ideally, we could define a build trigger that would take Github's post-receive hook payload and only build if the 'ref' value matched a given branch. Chris looked in to this a little and sounds optimistic enough for us to file this bug. http://help.github.com/post-receive-hooks/
Fixed this via jig. https://github.com/jsocol/jig
