649571 - It lags when entering text in the Edit bookmark dialog

I cannot enter text normally in the Name field in the Edit bookmark dialog (the dialog displayed when clicking the star button twice). Everytime I enter some texts (may be 1, 2 or 3 characters) in that field, the field lags (may be 'hang' is a better word) terribly, I cannot see newly entered texts appear in the field (but it still receives input). When I click on a button (any button in the dialog), it continues to work normally, the newly entered texts now appear, but the problem will occur again when I enter some texts again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on the star button twice
2.Enter some texts in the Name field
3.Now the field hangs!
Actual Results:  
The Name field hangs

Expected Results:  
It should behave like how a normal text field behaves

I'm using Linux Mint 10 on LXDE environment.

Afaict we don't do any kind of "polling" of what you enter in that field.
Maybe you have extensions touching bookmarks or textfields? Try safe mode to eclude them: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode

Of course I tried safe mode but nothing different. Can this problem relate to the desktop environment that I'm using? I'm using LXDE.(In reply to comment #1)

It now works correctly, I don't know what've happened :|

please reopen if it happens again, be aware add-ons can cause these sort of disappearing issues.
