Pages download in small bursts, then hang, then burst again. I get a spinning pinwheel on many pages. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open just about any webpage. 2. Minefield starts downloading the page, but hangs, then loads, then hangs. Sometimes, I have to force-quit. Actual Results: Minefield hangs while downloading Expected Results: No hanging.
Note: this does not appear to be generating crash reports, even when a force-quit occurs.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile.

Reporter, do you have anything new to add about this issue?
Yeah, its not going to crash if your quit or kill the process. A crash is driven by the software crashing. Slow downloaded web pages are network mixed with i/o and UI.
