Related to Bug 638910 Youtube now recognizes our User Agent and sends us to their mobile page instead of the desktop page, which is great. (1) With Phony disabled (or set to "default") Go to youtube.com (2) click on any video (3) then click on the thumbnail to play the video Result: Page redirects to same page "Redirecting to page. Please wait...", video does not play Expected: Video plays in native YouTube app Note: Setting Phony to "Android (Nexus One)" shows the *correct* behavior. Setting Phony to "Android (Galaxy Tab)" shows broken layout (video preview is wider than the screen, clicking on it shows a loading animation but never plays the video and doesn't show the native Youtube app either).
Issue also occurs on: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv71; rv2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110412 Firefox/4.2a1pre Fennec/4.1a1pre Device: Thunderbolt OS: Android 2.2 Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv71; rv2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110412 Firefox/4.2a1pre Fennec/4.1a1pre Device: Droid 2 OS: Android 2.2 (Phony not installed on either 2 devices)
We're working with Google on this issue, and they report that a fix is ready to deploy soon.

YouTube now works on Firefox for Android. Resolving.
