SeaMonkey is installing kypM-ssh in Bug 646723 and during the install I noticed that the kts.ini wasn't in the public repo like I thought it was when I filed Bug 645520.

After inspection, the kts.ini is meant to contain the product registration key, (which is not strictly required, but does get rid of the nag screen on connect)

I wish to get a byte-for-byte copy of kts.ini including the registration key for SeaMonkey use if possible.

Dustin did give me a copy of the file, stripped of the registration key over e-mail, and I was able to verify that this all works without it.

John, is that something that I *can* get for SeaMonkey?

Err, CC-ed the wrong john.

1) In bug#497487 we purchased a site-license for Mozilla. Its unclear if this covers other Mozilla-related projects run by community members. Sean has long since left, so I've emailed the company to find out if community projects would be covered under the previous purchase.

2) We believe you are asking for a one-time handover of a registration key, not for this registration key to be added to a public repo. Sound right to you?

Meanwhile, Callek, can you confirm how many SeaMonkey machines you want to install this on?

Correct, a one-time handover, not for a public repo at all.

We have 5 right now I'd be installing on; and I would also be installing/using 6 more copies once Bug 572395 gets resolved.

For what it is worth, if this is impossible for you to directly provide me for SeaMonkey, I will probably buy (out of my own pocket) a licence for SeaMonkey use; but if we are able to use the MoCo already-paid for licence, I would *greatly* prefer that (since I don't even get paid to do this stuff -- of course) ;-)

Callek;

KypM has confirmed that Mozilla community projects like yours are covered by the existing Mozilla site license. So for your (11?) machines, please ping Dustin in irc for the registration key in the kts.ini.

Note: we're not checking the registration key into a public repo, for obvious reasons, so please take appropriate care to make sure that the registration key is protected.
Key transferred.  Yay!
