The menu bar text is black (File, Edit, View). Rest of menus not affected as they render with the usual white.

The words File Edit etc are written in black. But if I click File then the menu that appears is alright and the File text still remains black. It happened in Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 Beta 2 now. Seems it happens regardless if I use Metacity or Compiz. The last version that worked well was on Compiz 0.8.6 after which I updated to 0.9.2.1 if I remember correctly and it stopped working. I switched to Metacity is still didn't work. Then I upgraded to 11.04 and Compiz 0.9.4.0 and still doesn't work. Tried Metacity again and again nothing. All other programs work as they should. Only Firefox has this issue.
Reproducible: Always

Can you please attach a screenshot? Do you use the default os theme or a custom one? Does the issue also appear with 3.6?

I think I use the default theme (haven't changed anything just installed CompizConfig Settings Manager but the bug was there before that). I can't check 3.6 as 4.0 is the default for 11.04.

Interesting though that on 10.10 I had 3.6 installed and it looked fine...after upgrading to 4.0 something happened and I can't get it to look OK again. But maybe it has something to do with Ubuntu and not with Firefox. I'll notify the ubuntu team see what they have to say about it.
