Details

Normally AMO should run 404 performance tests (100 add-ons on 4 operating systems plus 4 baseline measurements). This Saturday (April 16th) it was 473 tests instead. Apparently, a significant number of tests was duplicated. For example, Download Statusbar on Fedora: 1302962781.1302963361.13751 and 1302962793.1302963424.13907. Or IE View on OS X (lol): 1302962995.1302963049.12381, 1302963036.1302963094.12505, 1302963047.1302963087.12488. All duplicate jobs started only a few milliseconds apart so this doesn't appear to be intentional but rather a race condition in the job scheduling.

Previous test runs also had a somewhat higher number of tests (e.g. April 9th: 423 tests) but never that many.

Make that "seconds" - strange race condition then, some duplicate test runs started 40 seconds after the previous one.
It's an issue with the scheduler already filed as bug 592244.
