In one of our pages where we search on various criteria for finding a vacancy notice (job posting), FF requires that a valid date be selected, when no date is required.  This is irritating and not found in any other browser on this page.  

There is no js that validates the date, and so it is purely the browser forcing a valid date entry for a reason we do not understand.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log into site
2. Search on a vacancy notice, using any criteria other than deadline dates
3. Browser shows partial warning and highlights the date fields - disallows submission of the page.
Actual Results:  
Page not allowed to be submitted - error warnings appear.

Expected Results:  
No warnings, allow page to be submitted without any dates selected.

Yes, it continues.  

It is in an admin area of our site, which is for international agencies, so you cannot have access.  I can send screen shots if you send me an email to send to.
