Annotate says this is from hg@1, mxr shows no uses, I can't find any bugs that reference it. Brendan, do you think embedders use this or is it removable cruft?
(Note, no real impetus for removing it at this point, mostly just curious.)

JS_MapGCRoots was removed in Bug 803907 I believe...
