Error: [Exception... "'JavaScript component does not have a method named: "onBeforeLinkTraversal"' when calling method: [nsIXULBrowserWindow::onBeforeLinkTraversal]" nsresult: "0x80570030 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JSOBJECT_HAS_NO_FUNCTION_NAMED)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

SeaMonkey has similar problem.
but he has Navigator, "about:*" opens in Navigator.
The start page in Thunderbird isn't really design for browsing - just for viewing a static page. If you want to view about pages, use an add-on such as ViewAbout.

All links should go to the browser, although about: is special and shouldn't really do anything.
