Reporter,
There is no "save picture as" in any menus. When you say that do you mean "save
image as" because that is what the context menus have when you right click on
the image in the mail message. I just want to make sure.
Can you also tell us which builds you were using?
Thanks

Reporter, a fix was recently checked in to fix a similar problem. Can you
reproduce this with the latest nightly?

Linux 2001011508.
I was unable to reproduce this. I used the mail sample message as a test. (It
has that little lizard putting mail into a mailbox.)
Reporter, can you still reproduce this or can we resolve this?

that's not a message, that's the mailnews start page.
I think bienvenu just fixed this bug, and pmock verfied it.
bienvenu / pmock, is this a dup?

using build 2001-01-29-09 on linux and win32
While trying to save image as from the context menu in the message pane. The
menu item has the path of the file attached and displays as save image inbox %

The error that I saw on the console when I saved the file:
Call to xpconnect wrapped JSObject produced this error: *
[Exception... "[Exception... "Illegal value" code: "-2147024809" nsresult:

nsresult: "0x8057001c (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_JS_OBJECT)" location: "<unknown>"

Unable to save the image with right click. Reopening.

sheela, did you crash? if not, then this bug is fixed.
the js exception in downloadProgress.js would be something else (something new).

Linux (2001-02-05-08 mtrunk)
Win32 (2001-02-05-12 mtrunk)
Right click on image and do a "Save Image", no crash on Win_nt 4.0 and Linux.
Note: Mac: feature not available for right click on context menu.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
Context menus are available on Macs. Fenella, use CONTROL+click on images to
bring it up.
