I think this can be input.allizom.org - it should mirror what the other stage environments do in terms of DNS.

It will be input.allizom.org (allizom implies stage) and an eventual dev environment will likely end up being input-dev.allizom.org (keeps certs and such happy to have the same number of domains, vs. like input.dev.allizom.org).

I'll roll this out with the work in 651148.

Since the new dev and stage environments will be rhel6, we should keep the old stage environment around until the new ones are up and we have migrated prod to rhel6 as well.
