Hi,
I have been confronted with a weird issue. I have firefox configured to open home page when starting (general settings). But Actually this option is not taken into account when download manager is running. The first opened window restore last tabs, which I don't want, then other windows opens normally with home page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have "Open Home Page at firefox start" checked
2. Start a downloading (big enough to let time to test)
3. close firefox main window with some tabs opened
4. restart a new window of firefox

Actual Results:  
last session is restored instead of home page. other new window just works fine.

Expected Results:  
Have only one tab with my home page opened.

This happens when download manager is running.

I can see the results mentioned in the Description, but IMO this is not an actual bug since the Firefox start page is expected to start with a new instance (process). And since there is an instance (process) open (still running - downloading) it is expected to load the same tabs that were previously closed.

not nice to close without any other opinion. Tell me please then why any other new window opens with expected home page. As far as I understand there is no more much new instance then ?!!

sorry for recomment,

In firefox 3 I never had such trouble when closing main window, even with download manager running. A new window is still a new window (nevermind you call it instance or not). This behaviour is a regression in functionnality, telling the issue is resolved as invalid is not true.
I accord that this is not a serious or blocking issue, but still remains a behaviour I would like to see solved with later versions of firefox.

I looked for the issue and found that it is a bug but, there is one that has been previously filed on the same issue

If you consider so, please change this bug status accordingly (to duplicate). Thanks
