User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:5.0a2) Gecko/20110421 Firefox/5.0a2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:5.0a2) Gecko/20110421 Firefox/5.0a2 Bug 1: After installing Aurora, clicking the 'Finish' button caused that installation window to freeze. I "ended process" to quit the window. Otherwise no problem with install. Using Vista Home Premium with all updates installed on Toshiba A205-S5880 laptop. Bug 2: There is nothing shown in the upper right corner of this browser to use to report a bug, as was claimed to be in the email. Reproducible: Always

I can't reproduce in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0
Thanks for filing this bug. Typically we prefer that you file one bug in one report. It makes it harder to track issues if they are hidden within one bug report. Addressing the root issue reported of the installer hanging, this may be a dupe of bug 660194. This bug is about hanging when clicking Finish while that bug is about hanging when clicking Next; one might conclude that means they are separate issues. However, I think they can be unified under the common issue of "hanging installer".

I was able to "reproduce" it (Windows 7 64) by having an existing installation of Firefox running already during install. I ran the installer, putting the new copy in a different folder. When I clicked Finish, the window hung and I got the "Close Program / Wait" dialog. I noticed a moment later that, beneath the unresponsive installer window, was another dialog telling me I could only run one instance of FF at a time. I hope this helps.

This is normal. You can only run one copy of firefox at a time unless you include the -no-remote switch to the executable and select a different profile. By default, a new installation does not append this switch; you have to add it manually by editing the shortcut or running from command line.
