Build Identifier: Firefox/3.6.12

Since firefox 3.6.12 (may be even 3.6.11 as well) tab characters ('\t') are not properly shown in preformatted text anymore. 3.6.10 e.g. displays it as expected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.<pre>
2.<span style="display: inline-block">123</span>\tbla
3.</pre>
Actual Results:
firefox ignores the tab character completely

Expected Results:
there should be a recognizable gap between 123 and bla
