I would like no writing to hard drive functionality in Firefox.
When you browse internet some temporally files save to hard drive. And I don't like this, because hard drives are slow.
So I would like option which will prevent Firefox to write ANY data to hard drive.
There is only one exception when you select in download window "save to" option only then Firefox can write file to hard drive. 
If you download PDF document and select view in default PDF viewer, the PDF does not save to hard drive! But its open from memory. No writing to hard drive!
Also all cookies and flash object do not write itself on hard drive but they stay in memory. 
When you start firefox it load itself in memory and stays only in memory (RAM) until you close the program then all of the data is destroyed/rewritten with something else. 
Maybe would Firefox ask if you want to save any data to hard drive and there is check box menu with options: history, new bookmarks, cookies, session, ...
On power failure all data is lost! This is important data must be lost on power failure. No recovery options, on next start.
