According to the MindTouch support forums, this problem goes away if you upgrade mono to 2.4.2.3. But not a newer version. It must be that exact version.

This is on the developer-stage server, btw.
luke: we need to get mono upgraded as part of the Deki v10 upgrade.

Can they just add the version of mono that works with their software?

That would be ideal but they've never seemed particularly prone to bother. Can't we just upgrade it ourselves?
Can we ask them about it? Maybe they just aren't aware.

Hey Luke,

We do not recommend updating Mono past 2.4.3, though you can use the following RPM for your needs:

http://nightlybuild.mindtouch.com/MONO/mono-2.4.3-1.noarch.rpm


Note that Mono 2.4.3 was an very stable release which should fix the bug you are experiencing. Can you try upgrading using that RPM and let me know if this resolves your issue?

I installed that rpm on the stage servers, but now the service seems to just timeout. It is not showing any errors.
Was that related to zeus issues? I don't see the error on https://developer-stage.mozilla.org/User:Elchi3?view=activitydashboard anymore, though I don't see any comments either ...
We're back to an error. :(
Downgraded to 2.4.3 again.
It's working again.
Since this bug is only from dekiwiki 10 I'll close this out. We can switch the RPM in production during a push.
