When you run executable file from "Downloads" dialog box and "Open file - Security warning: Unknown publisher" pop-up window is open if you close tab with flash elements they won't stop (you can hear sounds + cpu usage is high).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play any YouTube video
2. Open any downloaded .exe file from "Downloads" window with unknown publisher
3. While "Open file - Security warning" pop-up is open close tab with video

Actual Results:
You can hear that video is still running in background.

Expected Results:
All flash element should stop running when tab containing them is closed.

Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:6.0a1) Gecko/20110424 Firefox/6.0a1

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.16) Gecko/20110319 Firefox/3.6.16

When "Open file - security warning" pop-up is open and closing the tab with a video running, sound is heard running in the background. Cancelling the pop-up notification, sound is also stopped.
This is reproducible also on Firefox 3.6.17.

Almost a year later and bug still occurring in current Nighly, this is sad.
TinyButStrong: I feel the same sadness about still missing unlimited manpower in Mozilla, missing patches by contributors to fix the problem, and still missing world peace in general. Also see "No obligations" under https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html . Thanks for your understanding. :)
Obviously, only the audio continues playing when the tab is closed.

It also continues when another video is started in the same tab. By the way, I'm using the FlashBlock extension. (viz. bug 474022)

Confirmed with new Flash version 11.4.402.265 in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 ID:20120821135628 CSet: 1b51c7bf1e05

It doesn't happen in Namoroka, or even the latest Aurora as of 21 Aug 2012.
Resolving old bugs which are likely not relevant any more, since NPAPI plugins are deprecated.
