User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.18) Gecko/20110320 Lightning/1.0b2 SeaMonkey/2.0.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.18) Gecko/20110320 Lightning/1.0b2 SeaMonkey/2.0.13 The Advanced Proxy Preferences pane is improperly sized, blocking out the options and cannot be re-sized. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.In any window go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies > [Select "Manual proxy configuration:"] > [Push The Advanced Button] 2. 3. Actual Results: I saw a half sized window. The pane still worked I was able to put in information and it worked but I couldn't see it. Expected Results: The pane should have been large enough that I could see all of the form and the information I put in. I use tor so this is pretty important me and anyone else that uses proxies.
Are you using the SeaMonkey default theme, the SeaMonkey Modern theme, or a third-party theme like Walnut or Mostly Crystal?
The default theme.
Could you attach a screenshot please? There is a "Add an attachment" link in the attachments section above.
It has been attached...
If you start in SeaMonkey safe mode do you still have this problem? <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode#Windows> Also do you have something in your userChrome.css that alters window widths? Or perhaps a Stylish userstyle?
Yes I still have the same problem in safe mode and I don't have a userChrome.css, I only have a userChrome-examples.css. I will try re-installing.
Ok I reinstalled I'm still having the pane issue.
Create a new SeaMonkey profile using the SeaMonkey profile manager. (Tools->Switch profile). Start SeaMonkey with that test profile. Is the advanced proxy window still too narrow? Phil
Yes...
I'm grasping at straws here: Are you using a non-default Windows OS theme that uses fonts with funny widths?
No, Windows 7 doesn't allow real themes.
I am getting the same sizing error on the dialog on the classic theme on 2.0. However this issue seems to have been fixed on 2.1
Is this still reproducible in current SeaMonkey versions?
