Problems using several webservers on one machine

Details
Mozilla seems to have problems to use webservers on different ports on the same
host.
If I first have visited http://mybox/ and then later wants to visit
http://mybox:8080/ I get the page of http://mybox/
After several reloads I might get the http://mybox:8080/ but then I can not get
back again.
If I use http://mybox:8080/ and http://mybox.domain.com/ there is no problem.
I have seen the problem on Linux and WinNT.

This is a known issue that is unfortunately making little progress. Any help is
greatly appreciated.
