Are your running Ask.com toolbar? If so this may be a dupe of bug 592258. Are you able to reproduce the bug when running in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Pretty sure this was the contract ID of the old extension manager, which was removed and replaced with new code/interfaces for Firefox 4.

I suppose that means that the problem could be caused by any outdated extension. If running in Safe Mode removes the problem, then the faulty extension can be tracked down with the methods described here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes#w_test-for-faulty-extensions

Reporter, did you manage to resolve this issue using the instructions in comment 3? Does your problem still exist in a current version of Firefox?
Mass-closing old Extension Compatibility bugs that relate to legacy add-ons or NPAPI plug-ins. If you think this bug is still valid, please reopen or comment. Sorry for the bug spam, and happy Friday!
