Each time you go to the internet, this pops up, you have to close it, then it proceeds to the internet. Also each time you try to go to any new site, it pops up first.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Each time you try to go to a new site, the error pops up first.

It should just go to the site you are wanting to go to, not give the error message each time.

Are your running Ask.com toolbar?
If so this may be a dupe of bug 592258.
Are you able to reproduce the bug when running in Safe Mode?

Pretty sure this was the contract ID of the old extension manager, which was removed and replaced with new code/interfaces for Firefox 4.

I suppose that means that the problem could be caused by any outdated extension.
If running in Safe Mode removes the problem, then the faulty extension can be tracked down with the methods described here:
