Details

Whenever I cannot to a server I get the following popup:
"The connection was refused when attempting to contact <server>."
or
"<server> could not be found. Check the name and try again."

While the popup waits for me to click OK is uses all the CPU that is available.
When I click OK, processor usage returns to normal.
I've seen this happening for the past couple of weeks on a few different builds
so it isn't new with 0.7. I'm trying to access a page at http://mindprod.com
and get the first error message. I just enter a nonsense url to get the second.

I have CeleronII @ 850.
