Details

The Markup stage app should be able to send emails (most importantly tracebacks when something goes wrong). There are some stub settings in settings_local.py that just need to be filled in with an actual SMTP server. Thanks!

So fred, other projects like Spark, don't need these settings and are able to send email fine. I've throw in localhost and port as 25, let me know if you still don't get email and we'll troubleshoot further.
