The site www.webcamnow.com/unmonitored utilizes a session cookie to grant access to the next page. Mozilla cannot proceed to the next page
I can reproduce the behavior. Not sure it's mozilla's fault though. I could not reach the cgi that is processing this form, but I am guessing it has a IE/NS4 specific script. Could you please ensure that the site recognizes moz as a browser? Thanks, Fabian. By the way : Please read the bug-writing-guidelines at http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html and use the Bug Helper to report your bugs, thanks!
In this trivial case I found the instructions in the bug report to be clear enough. I am able to reproduce. Regardless of the error message that the site is reporting, I can assure you that this is not a session-cookie problem. I'll investigate further to determine what the problem is. As Guisset mentioned, it's very likely that the site is not recognizing the mozilla browser and rejecting you for that reason. BTW, this is an adult website. We cannot condone the use of our browser to view such material! ;-)
I was about to say that the behavior reported here is the same in nav 4.x -- you can't get into the site there either. But then I took a more careful look as to what is happening. When you first press "I agree" you get to a screen talking about the session cookies and it appears as though they were saying that the session cookies weren't working. But they also ask you to select a catagory. If you do, you then get to another screen which again asks you to say "I agree" at which point you are then in the site and can view all the lewd videocams. Just noticed that this bug was marked linux. My testing was on windows. I'll try this on linux in a few minutes and report back.
OK, I tried it on linux and am able to get in there as well. So now I have to mark this as works-for-me. If you are still experiencing this problem, then please reopen the bug and write down a step-by-step sequence of events that you have taken and exactly what you observed at each step.
