Hey there: This was a curious one to file since it impacts both the about:mozilla blog (http://blog.mozilla.com/about_mozilla/) and Responsys newsletter. I believe it originates with the blog. When we use the basic HTML header in the blog - <a name="mozillians"></a><strong> - about:mozilla ends up a bit wacky on planet [david boswell can share a screenshot]. We then started using the header: <h5 id="upgrade">Firefox 4 upgrade campaigns</h5> However, when we use this header we can no longer do a clean copy and paste of the blog post into the rich text editor of Responsys. It ends up looking funky. Please see my screen shot -- the top paragraph is with H5 and the bottom is with the <a name=""></a><strong> Is there something we can do to the template in Responsys that will allow it to look like the second paragraph without a lot of monkeying around? Does this make sense?

Attached is a screenshot of the issue that was showing up when the about:mozilla newsletter was showing up on Planet. Basically it looked as though the link tags weren't closing (although they were closed in the HTML). I noticed that this only showed up in Firefox 4 when the post was on Planet. It was fine in Firefox 3.6 on Planet and it was fine in Firefox 4 on the about:mozilla blog. (So I'm not sure if Planet is doing something weird here or if this is a Firefox 4 bug). Removing the anchor tags in each section and replacing them with id="anchor_name" fixed the issue on Planet, but caused a new issue in Responsys.
Compare the attachment from comment #2 with the post on the about:mozilla blog to see what's breaking. https://blog.mozilla.com/about_mozilla/2011/03/22/firefox-4-launch-spread-the-word-download-counter-and-more/ For instance, in the first section called 'Mozilla Launches Firefox 4!' there isn't a link on the blog post until 'Download Firefox 4' near the end of the block of text but in the screenshot the whole block of text up to 'Download Firefox 4' is showing as a link.
Hey there. When we meet this week, it'd be great to walk me through all your processes when you're dumping the content in Responsys. I think there are several factors contributing to the formatting issues.
I think we can close this since the anchor links aren't an issue anymore if we're losing them from the new template. Feel free to reopen if we still need to look into this more.
