STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Install Adblock plus in fennec. (I did this via the entry in the suggestions list, in fennec's addons manager)
2. Restart fennec when prompted
--> Adblock Plus firstrun page is shown when fennec starts back up
(its uri is chrome://adblockplus/content/ui/subscriptionSelection.xul )
3. Note that it doesn't quite fit on the screen (with the urlbar)
Click and drag it, with a diagonal swipe (e.g. to scroll while also trying to show one of the sidebars)
Some sizeable fraction of the time, this ends up causing repaint issues, with duplicated chunks of the screen.
I couldn't repro on my desktop, but I could repro on my Nexus S phone.

Ah, I just managed to repro on my desktop after all. (using yesterday's mozilla-central fennec build)

This first run page is really not mobile-friendly, and should be overridden for fennec. Wladimir, we probably can have someone help design a nice mobile subscription page.
However, the rendering issues are real...

Here's a screencast of one rendering issue on Linux desktop. I had to mess around for about a minute, clicking and dragging the page, before I triggered this. (I cropped the screencast to just the interesting few seconds.)

I would rather prefer to avoid duplicated UI as much as possible. A simpler first-run page is already planned for Adblock Plus 1.4, it should do better in mobile browsers. The question is - is using XUL in Fennec's content area feasible at all or are bad issues to be expected?
