653841 - Text or images corrupted when scrolling message

When scrolling a message using a mighty mouse during reading, the text or image is distorted as it appears in the read message window. If I click the message and select all of the text (CMD A) it fixes all of the visible text but any text outside of the visible area is distorted as it scrolls into view. If using the scroll bar the problem does not occur. Intel Mac Pro 2x3 Ghz Quad Core Xeon 11Gb Ram and mighty mouse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a Message in standard 3 pane view
2.scroll message up or down with mighty mouse rather than scroll bar
3.

Actual Results:  
All text and images in the message is corrupted - see URL link 

Expected Results:  
Text should be readable

I have two Mac Pros and they both have the same bug if I scroll with the mighty mouse.

Do you have the issue when you start Thunderbird in -safe-mode (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe-Mode) ?

We use to have an issue with non up to date drivers, but can't find the said download on apple's website right now.

Sorry - didn't know you could do that - should have tried it first. That fixed the problem. The problem appears to be with Display Mail User Agent 1.6.6. When I turned this off the problem went away. I've mailed the author of the add-on.

Know issue but it wasn't showing on your screenshot so ...

Please let the author know that he has a bug.
