User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; nl; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2011032020 Camino/2.0.7 (MultiLang) (like Firefox/3.0.19) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; nl; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2011032020 Camino/2.0.7 (MultiLang) (like Firefox/3.0.19) The bookmark bar is too sensitive for drag and drop. Issues are: - Accidentillay opening tens of tabs when you drag a folder to the tab bar - Rearranging items accidentally - Nesting folders accidentally Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Operate Camino with a trackpad or a Wacom tablet. With a regular mouse the problems are a little less happening 2. 3. Expected Results: When dragging a folder with say more than 5 items to the tab-bar, a popup should ask if you really want this. The preferences should have an option to lock drag-and-drop of the bookmarkbar all completely (including dragging to the tab bar), or to disable just rearranging of bookmarks (you can open the bookmarkmanager if you want to do that)
See also bug 537858, which describes what I suspect is a very specific subset of the problem here. I'm not sure there's really much we can do about this. It does sound like the tablet or trackpad sensitivity could stand to be turned down a bit, if the software allows for it. Stuart, any ideas?
