Same as Bug ID 620611 but you say it is resolved, and I still get the error and Firefox doesn't open until you close the error box.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 As reported in Bug 620611, when you try to open Firefox or open a new window, you get a message: JavaScript Application (in top bar). TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined. It happens every time and frankly is way beyond nuisance already (only one day). If this is how you think it is resolved, then I will have to think about another browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Firefox or try to open a new window 2. 3. Actual Results: Get error box: JavaScript Application. TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined Expected Results: Open Firefox or new window
that bug is resolved as invalid, since it's caused by an add-on. Can you reproduce in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
I removed all add-ons, and the problem persists. Don't think that was the problem.
I'm moving this over to bug 620611 since that bug was RESOLVED INVALID due to lack of information (it was never actually fixed). If you can reproduce this bug with a new profile, please comment in bug 620611). Thanks.
