just like to know if its a false alarm on clamav, in that cast submit a bug report to clamav team on windows, i am self unsure how to do this

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install clamav on windows
2. download thunderbird
3. install it

Actual Results:  
clamav now says its contains virus and quarintine it

Expected Results:  
virus free opensource software atleast

ludo, this ship (3.1.10) is long gone - but didn't we have a case this summer with a different AV?

Not that I can remember as I test relaeses using virustotal before releasing and when issues are found I contact the AV vendor.
