I'd like the AUS configs to be a bit more public than what they are at the moment (where I can't see them at all). The main reason is that I frequently just want to check the state of throttling or something, or compare to the Firefox version, and I can't. Which means I have to go through you guys which takes a bit longer.
Right now, that's in the sys svn repo (private) and deployed via puppet. If we are to put it up somewhere else, we need to make sure puppet deploys an explicit revision of that file, and not latest. Hrm, I wonder where to put it. One alternative is to have a read-only http:// location that allows you to view the current production version of that file, would that be good enough ?
Yes, that'd be fine.
Actually moved the canonical version of the production AUS config file in public svn here: https://svn.mozilla.org/mozillamessaging.com/sites/aus.mozillamessaging.com/trunk/config.php Production will *not* auto-update, and build@ will need to be notified of svn versions that needs pushing to production.
