This is my first time submitting a bug. Please tell me how to improve my submission if I'm not doing it right.
You say windows NT, however your build id says you are using windows vista. which is true?
Summary: Crash - no clear reason → Crash - no clear reason [@ xul.dll@0x86217 ]
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
It's Vista. Sorry. The reporting tool defaulted to NT. I've changed it above.
OS: Windows NT → Windows Vista
Please try it again without extensions: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode if you get this crash more than once.

The stack looks a bit curious to me. mjit with symbols -> @0x18b243db -> xul.dll without symbols.
dmandelin: Do you have an idea if this could be related to JS Engine or are the missing symbols in xul.dll just a socorro problem ?
Severity: normal → critical

From just looking at the crash stats, this looks like a 4.0->4.0.1 regression. There aren't symbol-less crashes of this sort, with this sort of frequency in 4.0. And a sampling of the crashes with this particular signature on 4.0.1 shows no correlations/commonalities with respect to extensions.
Keywords: regression
Crash Signature: [@ xul.dll@0x86217 ]
Depends on: 711973
No longer depends on: 711973
Depends on: 711973
This crash signature moves between each version, so if it exists in the latest Firefox version, it will be under another signature.
I close it as incomplete.
