When retrieving my mail, SM acts as if all is too fast so it locks up. I can read existing messages but cannot up or download any mail till I reboot my computer and clear out the mail pipeline (via directly at my ISP Comcast or via Outlook Express). This is not new - it started over a year ago (before SM 2.0 and on another machine/hardware) but only about once month. Guessing that it happened only when I tried "get new messages for all accounts" I changed to getting messages one account at a time - but to no avail. Recently the freeze increased frequency to more that once a week. I have 6 mail accounts and receive about 150 emails per day. My profile is in a different partition than the sm.exe files.

No one in the Usenet has complained of this so I suspect it is a problem at my end. But no other apps have exhibited errors to imply either a hardware or an OS problem.

Hold off working on this bug. Suspicious that freeze may be caused by moving messages to other accounts via Message Filters at same time as new messages are being downloaded. SO: disabled cross-account filter actions and have had no freezes so far (only 4 days). If no freeze by next month, I'll be back to revise this bug. Note, junk mail testing is not enabled.
