    Awesome screenshot 2.3 keeps telling me its not aavailable for Firefox   3.6.15 and won't let me download it! - Firefox tells me I DO have 4.0.1



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to add ons manager for Firefox 4
2. click on Awesome screen shot
3. message displayed under add to Firefox saying not available for 3.6.15

Actual Results:  
a balloon pops up saying I have 3.6.15 and I should upgrade!!!!

Expected Results:  
load Awesome Screenshot add on to my Firefox 4.0.1

Also - and I can't be sure its a Firefox problem but it has happened with a couple of different sites, with download manager telling me the download has completed, but only a fraction of the file has actually downloaded, I've had to repeat the download several times to get it to stick, I don't download too often and didn't take much notice at the time and can't be sure of the sites involved, but in view of the other problems that seem to be surfacing - I thought that this might help..... we go all the way back to Netscape so keep up the good work. Something is apparently wrong here.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode?

How about with a new, empty profile?

You may in addition to the Troubleshooting Information you've already found visit for example http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ to see your user agent string. (That doesn't solve your problem, but you can see what the browser actually presents to the servers.)

Tried Safe Mode but it made no difference, but loading an empty profile did the trick.
I am not tech orientated but I did try copying across the folders from the default profile to the new empty profile with no effect, however when I copied the 40 additional files across the problem reappeared.  I don't have the time to move one file at a time to see which one it is [and I was wqorried that I'd do something stupid and loose things] so I imported my bookmarks from the default profile into the new profile and it is fine. 
Whether it is linked at all ... but sometime recently I lost a toolbar [at upgrade??]and was left with the message that I would need to reinstall it. But I couldn't remember what it was ... Doh! I can now see it was linked to AVG and it appears fine on the new profile - I use AVG Internet Security.
